Between us, we own multiple vacation rental properties, and we own multiple vacation rental and bed and breakfast related websites, all of which are designed to allow owners of vacation rentals or bed and breakfasts to market their properties online. We are offering this website as a resource to owners of vacation rentals worldwide so that we can share our collective experiences.
The primary purpose of the website is to offer vacation rental owners information and resources as well as best practices gleaned from years of owning, operating and marketing multiple vacation rentals. We will post what we feel are helpful articles offering best practices in topics ranging from marketing best practices to operational best practices. We will allow vacation rental owners to comment on our posts, and we will encourage discussion in the owner community. As such, we will actively moderate the discussions, and offer our feedback where appropriate.
In our capacity as vacation rental and bed and breakfast website operators, we find that many of our customers will ask us questions about how they could be more successful marketing or operating their property to maximize utilization. We will take excerpts of many of these questions and post our answers on this website, so that everyone can benefit. We have invited all of our current and former customers to participate in this discussion, so we expect and welcome hearty discussion to the extent that it encourages a positive discourse. We will not allow disparagement of our competitors in the vacation rental website industry, but we do encourage owners to post information about there experiences marketing their properties through whatever mediums that exist - newspapers, real estate guides, online vacation rental websites like ours, etc.
We initially decided to put together this website to offer useful information to customers of our vacation rental websites so that they may be more successful marketing and operating their vacation rental properties both on the Internet and offline. We then decided to open it up to all owners of vacation rental properties, so that the entire community can help each other be more successful marketing and operating their properties.
